Rodin and the Dance

This spring, the musée Rodin showcase Rodin's relationship with the world of dance.

'Rodin et la danse' is based around Rodin's famous series, Mouvements de danse, never exhibited in his lifetime, and over fifty drawings. The sculptor's fascination with dance will be explored through the story of his encounters with dancers of the day, including Isadora Duncan, Loïe Fuller, the famous Cambodian dancers and Hanako, the Japanese dancer. An exceptional assembly of work, this exhibition brings together sculpture, photography, drawings and antique models.
