Markus Lüpertz's sculptures at the Musée de la Vie Romantique

A new exhibition at the Musée de la Vie romantique in Paris.

In the former home and studio of Ary Scheffer (1795-1858) the Musée de la Vie romantique presents for the very first time, the most recent sculptures of Markus Lüpertz. Made between 2016 and 2017 these works explore the past and present as seen through the process of sculpture creation itself. The whole presented here is the echo - plaster models of Lüpertz's bronzes are reborn through the application of coloured waxes as Lüpertz explores the history of the technique. The exhibition will run from October 16th until January 29th.
