Piet Mondriaan's Spiritual Path

A new exhibition at the Villa Mondriaan explores Mondriaan's spiritual journal.

Presented in collaboration with Gemeentemuseum The Hague, The Spiritual Path runs from 21 September 2018 - 3 March 2019. Religious faith was a major influence in Mondriaan's life, from the strict Protestantism of his upbringing to the spiritual path of theosophy he adopted in later years. This exhibition is guest curated by Benno Tempel, director of Gemeentemuseum The Hague and curator of the Dutch Pavilion at Venice Biennale 2019.
